Located 120 kms from Diphu, Amreng is a river cape situated between Kapili River and its tributary Amreng River. Surrounded by mystic blue hills and evergreen forest, it is famous for unique natural beauty. There is a tourist lodge on the river bank.
 

Expeditions to Singhason the highest peak of the district at an altitude of about 1600 mts through rainforest, reverie, rocky hills with enchanting sight and sound is heart mesmerising. The expeditions will have additional thrill while evaluating with varieties of birds and animals including barking deer, pygmy hog, spotted deer, varieties of monkeys, langoors and birds of unspecified and specified varieties including Himalayan Horn Bills in their natural abode. During the 2nd World War the British had developed the hill top into an Army Air¬ Strip which remains in its original form and now provides a pleasant camp site for further development. This spot is also a natural watch tower of the entire Brahmaputra Valley, the snow cladded Himalayan ranges, the Patkai and Barail ranges as far as the eye permits. Further, expeditions will experience the warm tropical climate maximum 35°C to 17°C in summer and 25°C to 10°C in winter within the 30 kms distance only.
 

It is a planned landscape full of local vegetation which is maintained by the local forest department and is regarded as an ideal picnic spot. Located just 8 kms from Diphu, it is easy to reach. People from nearby cities too come here to enjoy. The scenic beauty and the picturesque landscape speak for itself about its unending beauty.
 

There is a Botanical garden well known for the rare species of plants and trees present there. It is situated around 5 kms away from Diphu town. Flowers and plants of different species are found here such ranging from medicinal plants to herbs. There is boating facility in the garden as well and people come to have a good time with their family in the garden.

Just adjacent to the Arboretum and Botanical garden is notified but under developed wildlife sanctuary called "Marat Longri" the Animals Empire. Born out of presence of varieties of animal species and existing thick forest you can see the animals in their natural habitat throughout the year.
