Mathura in Uttar Pradesh is one of the most sacred cities of Hinduism, as it is the birthplace of Lord Krishna, located at a distance of 140 km southeast of the country's capital Delhi, & 60 km northwest of Agra. This mesmerizing destination attracts tourists & devotees from all across the world. The land of Braj starts from Kotban near Hodel, is about 95 km from Delhi & ends at Runakuta, which is known for its association with the poet Surdas, an ardent Krishna devotee. 1: Krishna Janm Bhoomi Mandir
KRISHNA JANM BHOOMI MANDIR
The Temple is at Vrindavan Road, near Deeg Gate Police Chowk, Mathura. The temple is around the prison cell where the ancient Hindu god Lord Krishna is said to have been born next to Kesava Deo Temple. It is one of the most visited and holy temples in Mathura by many devotees. Opening hours morning 05.00 am to 12.00 pm afternoon 02.00 pm to 08.00 pm. 
 
2: Govardhan Hill
GOVARDHAN HILL
Govardhana is an eight km long hill located near Vrindavana, 22 kilometers from Mathura & a pilgrimage center known for its 21 kilometers long parikrama of the famous Govardhan hill. One of the most sacred days in Goverdhan is Guru Poornima & on this day, millions of devotees come to Govardhan for parikrama.
 
3: Dwarkadhish Temple
DWARKADHISH TEMPLE
The Temple is in the Chaubiya Para area, 3.5 km from city railway station Mathura Junction. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna & is one of the oldest & largest temples of Mathura, built by Seth Gokul Das Parikh in 1814, who was the treasurer of the Gwalior Estate. Janmashtami is the major festival celebrated with great enthusiasm.

KUSUM SAROVAR
Kusuma Sarovara, a beautiful sandstone monument, is a 25-minute walk from Radha Kund. It's a place where Radha, along with gopis, used to collect flowers and meet Lord Krishna.

VISHRAM GHAT
Vishram Ghat is a worship place near Dwarkadhish temple on the bank of the holy river the Yamuna & there are a total of 25 ghats in Mathura. Vishram Ghat is the most prominent ghat according to Hindu mythology & it was here that Lord Krishna rested after a long battle fought to kill Kans & also the starting & ending point of Govardhan parikrama.
 
6: Sri Radha Vallabh Vrindavan Temple

The temple is at Radha Vallabh Ghera, Vrindavan, near Bankey Bihari Temple & which is the symbol of Radha's love for Lord Krishna. The Radhavallabh sect had constructed this temple with the blessings of Sri Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu in the 16th century.

Among the seven main temples of the Gaudiya Vaishnava sect in Sri Vrindavan Dham is the temple of Sri Radha Shyamsundar because it houses the most beautiful and unique Deity of Sri Shyamsundar, that manifested from Srimati Radharani’s heart. Sri Radha Shyamsundar Mandir in Sri Vrindavan Dham houses three pairs of Deities Sri Lala Lali, Sri Radha Kunjabihari & Sri Radha Shyamsundar.  
 
11: Mansi Ganga Tank (large Masonry Lake)

The place is in Govardhan, 26 km west of Mathura. Mansi Ganga tank, associated with Govardhan parikrama, is a masonry lake created by Lord Krishna & people take a holy bath here.

SRI RADHA RAMAN TEMPLE
The temple is at Parikrama Marg, Seva Kunj, Vrindavan. The temple is exquisitely crafted & one of the most revered temples in Vrindavan & is among the seven temples of Thakur Ji of Vrindavan. On the full moon day of Vaisakha, an event is celebrated every year (May) by bathing the Deity with 100 liters of milk and other auspicious items.

The museum is in Dampier Nagar, Mathura referred to as Mathura museum is an archaeological museum founded by F.S. Grouse in 1874 & today one of the leading centers for research, study & the preservation of Mathura’s heritage of art. The museum houses artifacts, pottery, sculptures, paintings, and coins primarily from in and around Mathura.

GITA MANDIR
The temple is 5 km from Mathura, built by the Birla Group. This temple has majestic architecture accompanied by beautiful carvings & houses a stunning image of Lord Krishna. The temple has the carvings of the Bhagavad Gita preached by Lord Krishna to his Disciple Arjuna, the Pandava Prince.

Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Math is adjacent to Sri Rangesvara Mahadeva and Kamsa­tila, on the right side of the parikrama path and the left side of the Mathura–Agra road. The Math spreads the bhakti preached by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabu.

Jama Masjid is the mosque of Mathura, adjacent to the Janmabhoomi temple complex, built by Abd-un-Nabi, governor of Aurangzeb, in 1662.

KANS QUILA
The fort is located at Ratankund, Mathura and is in a ruined condition. Previously about 5000 years ago it was used to be a home of Kans, Maternal Uncle Of Lord Krishna and was the capital of surasena Kingdom.The Fort is opened on all days from 8 a.m to 4.30 p.m.
