It was built in 1977 by the state government & was named Dadasaheb Phalke Nagar in 2001 in memory of India's first producer-director-screenwriter, Dadasaheb Phalke.

ISKCON
The temple, also known as Sri Radha Rasabihari Ji temple, is located at Hare Krishna Land, Juhu Church Road, Juhu, Mumbai. The presiding Deities at the temple are Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Radha Rasabihari, and Sri Sita Rama Laxman Hanuman. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON, inspired the construction of the most beautiful temple of Lord Krishna (ISKCON) in Mumbai. The timings of the temple are 4.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Hanging Gardens, also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are terraced gardens perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite Kamala Nehru Park. MUMBADEVI TEMPLE
The temple is at Mumba Devi Marg, Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai, dedicated to Goddess Mumba. The Mumba Devi Temple was first built in Bori Bunder in 1675 and was destroyed and reconstructed at Zaveri Bazaar in 1737. It is a sacred pilgrimage spot and place of worship for Hindus and is thus visited daily by hundreds of people. The city's name is derived from the temple's deity, Maa Mumbadevi.

Vasai Fort is also known as Bassein or Bacaim in the Vasai taluka of the District of Palghar, Konkan Division. The Portuguese built Bassein Fort to strengthen their naval superiority over the Arabian Sea. The Fort witnessed the victory of Marathas under the leadership of Chimajiappa against the Portuguese. The Fort is now in a ruined condition.

The temple is in Thane West, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Shivalinga inside the temple is said to be one of the largest in Maharashtra. According to Hindu mythology, when the lingam reaches the ceiling, it will cause a pralayam (destruction). The present temple structure was rebuilt in 1760 by Sarsubhedar Ramaji Mahadeo Bivalkar. The temple complex also houses shrines dedicated to Brahma, Rama, Hanuman, Shitala Devi, Kashi Viswalingeswar, Dattatreya, Garuda, and Kali.

In 1953, with the blessings of Jagadguru Sree Sankaracharya Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, the Temple attained full-fledged status by the set up of idols of Lord Sree Ramachandra, Sitadevi, Lakshmanan, and Hanuman in a specially created Garbhagriha.

The place formerly known as Amboli cave is at Patel Industrial Premises, Opposite T-Series, Near Citi Mall, Andheri Lokhandwala, Andheri West, Mumbai. The Jogeshwari Caves are one of the earliest Hindu and Buddhist cave temple sculptures and are believed to be almost more than 1500 years old. The caves have a Hanuman temple and a Ganesh temple & also have impressions of footprints of Goddess Yogeshwari.    
 
26: Sewri Jetty (flamingo Point)

The place is near the Sewri locality of South Mumbai, about one kilometer or walking distance of 20 minutes from the Sewri railway station, & is home to thousands of Flamingos and other rare bird species from November to March. The best time to visit is between the month of October to March.

The monument is located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai, built during the 20th century as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai. The Gateway of India is a monument that marks India's chief ports and is a tourist attraction for visitors. The structural design of the Gateway of India is a landmark constituted of a large arch, with a height of 26 meters, in the Indo-Saracenic style.

The world-famous temple is at S.K.Bole Marg, Prabhadevi, Mumbai, dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It was built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. It is one of the most visited temples in Mumbai, the inner roof of the sanctum plated with gold. Lord Ganesh is the first to be worshipped before beginning any new venture, as he is the destroyer of obstacles (Vighnaharta). In the complex, there is a Hanuman temple as well. It is the most famous and holy temple of Lord Ganpati in India.
 
30: Sanjay Gandhi National Park
SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK
The park is in Borivali East, Mumbai, between the suburbs of Mumbai and Thane. The park has a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Sanjay Gandhi National Park is hilly and densely covered with trees & is home to more than 274 species of birds, 35 species of mammals, 170 species of butterflies, and 1300 species of plants. The 2,400 years old Kanheri Caves are also inside the park. Other notable attractions to enjoy inside the Park are Tiger & Lion Safari, Boating, Gandhi Tekdi (dedicated to the ‘Father of the Nation’), and Van Rani over toy train facility. 
 
31: Haji Ali Dargah
HAJI ALI DARGAH
The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque on an islet off the coast of Worli at Dargah Rd, Haji Ali, Mumbai. The mosque was constructed in 1431 in the memory of a wealthy Muslim merchant, Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca. People from all parts of the world without restrictions of caste, creed, and religion visit the Dargah to offer their prayers and for the fulfillment of their wishes by the blessings of Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. 
 
32: Elephanta Caves
ELEPHANTA CAVES
Elephanta is an island, a network of sculpted caves located about 11 km northeast of the Apollo Bandar & from the Gateway of India, ferries to Elephanta Island are available. There are seven cave excavations in the Elephanta group & the Cave one is the most impressive & represents evolved Brahmanical rock-cut architecture & also famous for its exquisite and vibrant sculptures. Opened from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M & closed on Monday.

Mahalaxmi Temple is one of the most famous temples on Bhulabhai Desai Road in the Mahalaxmi area. The museum, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, is located at Mahatma Gandhi Road. It is Mumbai's biggest and best museum & displays a mix of exhibits from India. The caves date back to the 1st century BC and are said to be one of the oldest cave formations in the country & offer a pleasant break from the pollution and the noisy, metropolitan life.

The temple is at Swaminarayan Chowk Opp. Dadar(CR) Station in the Bhuleshwar area of Mumbai. The present Mandir has a tri-spire structure & the Murtis installed are that of Laxminarayan Dev, Ghanshyam Maharaj, Hari Krishna Maharaj, Gaulokvihari & Radha. In 1868, Ranchhoddas Pranjeevandas built the first Shree Swaminarayan temple in Mumbai by breaking and rebuilding his residence.

Castella de Aguada, also known as the Bandra Fort, located in Bandra, is in ruined condition & was built by the Portuguese in 1640 as a watchtower overlooking Mahim Bay. Castella de Aguada has featured in several Hindi films, such as Dil Chahta Hai, Buddha Mil Gaya, and a few more.

WALKESHWAR TEMPLE
The Temple, also known as the Baan Ganga Temple, dedicated to Hindu Diety Lord Shiva, is situated at Banganga Cross Lane, Teen Batti, Malabar Hill, Mumbai. According to Hindu Mythology, God Rama paused at that spot on his way from Ayodhya to Lanka on the way to fight Ravana. Lord Rama is said to have constructed the original linga of sand after getting tired of waiting for his brother, Lakshman, who went to bring an idol.

The library is at Mahatma Gandhi Road, Off David Sassoon Library Marg, Opposite Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Fort, Mumbai. It is a famous library and heritage structure in Mumbai. The library houses over 40,000 books & many of them are rare volumes from the Raj era. The Sassoon family, who are of Baghdadi Jewish descent, funded the construction & the library was donated to the city by Sir Albert Abdullah Sassoon.

The lake is a freshwater lake situated at Salsette Island within the premises of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, also known as Borivali National Park. The lake was built by constructing a dam across River Tasso and redirecting the water. The lake is famous for its scenic, lush green backdrop and diverse flora and fauna & has a sustainable number of freshwater crocodiles. Entry for the public is restricted & hence, prior permission from Sanjay Gandhi National Park authorities is required before heading to the lake due to the presence of crocodiles.

The Worli Fort in Mumbai is one of the forts built during the colonial era by the British around 1675. There is a tower on the fort for hanging bells, a well, a temple, and a gym.

MAHAKALI CAVES
The cave is on Mahakali hills in the Mahakali region of Mumbai, an assembly of 19 rock-cut landmarks built between the first and sixth centuries. There are 19 caves, fifteen on the southeast face of the hill and four on the northwest face. The monument contains rock-cut cisterns and remnants of other structures.
