This fortress, perched atop a 200-foot-high hill, was constructed by Raja Sonde in 1698. Later, in 1715, Basavlingraj named it Sadasgivgad to honor his father, Sadashivlingraj. Additionally, the hill fort offers access to the 17th-century Dargah of Karimuddin Ghouse Jilani.
