About Anantnag

Anantnag, also known as the commercial capital of Jammu & Kashmir, is located in the southwestern part of the Kashmir valley. The destination is one of the most developed regions in the valley of Kashmir, surrounded by various cities like Srinagar, Kargil, Pulwama, Doda, and Kishtawar. The place where Lord Shiva dropped numerous snakes has been named Anantnag on his way to Amarnath Cave.
