Situated at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level, just 17 km from Patnitop, Sanasar is one of the remotest areas of Jammu. Owing to the awe-inspiring natural environment of forests and meadows, Sanasar is the aero-adventure-sports capital of the Jammu region, including Rock-climbing, Abseiling, Paragliding, Parasailing, and Hot-air ballooning. Sanasar is a sports-adventurist paradise as one gets an avenue for learning and practicing these rare and skilled sports. Sanasar is a popular adventure-sports destination in India nevertheless. Sanasar is a cup-shaped green meadow encompassed by imposing cedars that offers an enchanting view and experience of nature in all its glory. 

Bhaderwah is a town in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir state. Bhaderwah valley is predominantly a mountainous town situated 80 km from Batote. Bhadarwah is in the foothills of the middle Himalayas, endowed with breathtaking natural beauty, which is why it is popularly called mini Kashmir. Apart from having picture-perfect scenic beauty due to beautiful forests, many small streams flow through various parts of the town. T Bhaderwah, also known as Nagon ki Bhoomi, means land of Snakes. 

A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is one of the holiest pilgrimages of all times. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji resides in a Holy Cave in the folds of the three-peaked mountain, Trikuta. The Holy Cave attracts millions of devotees from all parts of India and abroad. The Holy Cave of the Goddess is at an altitude of 5200 ft. There are no statues or idols inside the Cave. Darshans are open round the clock throughout the year. The Temple or Bhawan is 13.5 km from Katra & various modes of transportation are available from Katra to Bhawan, including Ponies, electric vehicles, paalkis operated by 2 or 4 persons, and Helicopter services.

Relatively unknown, compared to the other tourist spots in the state, Patnitop is no less beautiful or serene. With all its beauty at a hill station, it is a charming plateau at 2,024 meters. The meadow is surrounded by dense woods and lush greenery of Pines. Tracks lead to pockets where time stands still & calm prevails. The best time to visit here is summer from May-June, and autumn, September-October. If seeking snowboard joys, December to March is the time to be here. Picturesquely situated at a high altitude, there are many pleasant walks around this popular hill station. Patnitop is a good starting place for many short or longer treks into the nearby mountains. 

The biggest Shiva temple in north India, Ranbireshwar temple, is one of the prime attractions in the picturesque Jammu city. It is a very ancient shrine located on Shalimar Road near the New Secretariat. The temple has a central `lingam` measuring 8 feet in height, constructed out of black stone, and is the biggest in India. 

Raghunath Temple is a well-known holy shrine of the Hindus, located in Jammu & one of the largest temple complexes in the Northern part of India. The central shrine, dedicated to Lord Raghunath, is the presiding deity. Apart from the main shrine, the other shrines encompass various incarnations of Lord Vishnu. There is a shrine of Lord Surya, which is another striking shrine. There are many idols of different forms of God.
