Brahmamgari Matam Temple is dedicated to Brahmamgari who used to predict the occurrences of the Kaliyuga. Sanctity of the site is due to the belief that prophecies of Brahmamgari turned out to be true. Natives believe that in Kaliyuga, Brahmamgari will arrive as Veerabhoga Vasantha Rayalu to re-establish peace and values.
 

Devunikadapa is a very popular pilgrim centre of the Hindus because of its religious significance. Pilgrims seeking the blessings of the Lord at Tirumala Tirupati have to go through Devunikadapa in order to consider their pilgrimage complete. Devunikadapa is popularly known as Tirumala Tholi Gadapa Devuni Kadapa. The famous Sri Venkateswara Temple has been in existence in the area since the times of the Vijayanagar Empire. The idol of Lord Venkateswara was established in the place by Guru Kripacharya himself. Therefore, one can find the mention of Devunikadapa in the puranas as well. It was then referred to as Kripavathi Kshetram. Pilgrims first pray here to Annamacharya and Potuluri Veerabramhendra Swamy before continuing their journey to Tirupati temple. Many people come to the place for worshipping. The temple at Devunikadapa is usually hustling and bustling with activity through the week, but Saturdays are generally very crowded.
 

Vontimitta is a place of historical and spiritual importance. It is home to a temple of Bhagawan Sri Rama. The temple is some 450 years old and the presiding lord is known as Kodanda Rama Swamy. Legend is that two disciples of lord Rama, Vontudu and Mittudu, had constructed the temple in one single day. After constructing it, they reportedly sacrificed their lives in the name of lord and turned into statues. We can still find these statues as you enter the temple. This temple is the only shrine in the country where Sri Seeta Rama kalyanam is held in the night. The Vontimitta Kodanda Rama Swamy temple, which is constructed with some 32 pillars, is extremely high. The temple is also known as Madhya Ranga Mandapam. Annamacharya, the great devotee of Lord Sri Rama, is related to this temple. It is also said that the idol of Lord Sri Rama has been established by Lord Jambuvantha. The archaeological survey of India has notified this temple as an Ancient Monument.
 

Veerbhadra Swamy Temple is a renowned temple of the region that lies on the banks of the River Kundu. Located on the Mydukur Proddutur Road, the temple is visited during the festival of Maha Shivaratri.
 

Tallapaka is a village which is known as the birthplace of Saint Annamacharya. He was renowned for his devotional songs. Dhyana Mandiram was built in reverence of Saint Annamacharya who dedicated his life to literature and music during the 15th century. The main attraction of the village is the temple of Sudarashanachakra, which has statues of Lord Vishnu and Sant Gopalakrishna. The site has temple of Lord Hanuman and Lord Garuthmantha. The temple of Siddeshwara Swamy, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is in proximity of other temples in Tallapaka.
 

Pushpagiri is regarded as a sacred region of the state due to the presence of many temples and places of pilgrimage. The site is also known by the name of Second Hampi and supports the faith among the two groups of the Hindu religion, the Saivas and the Vaishnavas. Among their own group, the Saivas called this site Madhya Kailasam while the Vaishnavas titled it as Madhya Ahobilam. Pushpagiri is the only region in the state of Andhra Pradesh to have the holy peetham of Sankaracharya. Out of all the temples in Pushpagiri, Chennakesava Swamy Temple is the largest and is visited by devotees as well as tourists.
