Kaba Gandhi No Delo is the residence of Mahatma Gandhi, situated in Rajkot. It is the place where Gandhiji stayed during his early years of life at Rajkot. The place draws its name from Mahatma Gandhi’s father’s name, Kaba Gandhi. This place displays the old and traditional architectural style of building houses and monuments. Kaba Gandhi No Delo has now been converted into a museum called the ‘Gandhi Smriti’. This museum consists of photographs, crucial objects and belongings of the ‘father of the nation’, Mahatma Gandhi. In vicinity of this place, a NGO is run for young girls to learn embroidery and sewing.
 

This oldest museum in the region of Saurashtra is a must visit destination in Gujarat. It accommodates calm greenish environment and the priciest interesting artefacts and paintings. Located in the Queen Victoria Memorial Institute Building in Jubilee Gardens, it is named after Colonel John Watson who held the position of the political agent of Kathiawar Agency during 1881 and 1889. While the museum houses an array of Watson's own collections it also includes an interesting numismatics section, artefacts from the ancient history and the Mohenjo-Daro era and textiles and jewellery used by people of the local tribes to name a few. The museum is open between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm daily and is closed on alternate Sundays and general holidays.
 

It is very big temple of Swaminarayan situated in the middle and prime location with very big parking space. It’s on the main road and temple is beautiful. Tourists can also eat dinner or lunch while on the way and stay there also in beautiful airy rooms and they are very neat and clean.
 

Naulakha Darbargadh Palace was built during the 17th century. This palace is one of the oldest and the most beautiful palace in Gondal. This palace is situated on the banks of the river on a grand masonry base, rising about 30 meters above the river bed. This palace was built in about nine lacks and thus named so. The palace is approached by the high gateway with the clock tower from the town side. The entrance leads to a huge open space with administrative blocks on the right and a grand staircase on the extreme left corner leading to the intricately carved pavilions on the open terrace. There are stone carvings with exquisite balconies, fabulous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase in the palace. The grand Darbar Hall has series of huge windows which open into long balcony supported by intricately carved brackets. The Darbar Hall has large chandeliers, stuffed panthers, wooden furniture and antique Belgian mirrors. The private palace museum displays artefacts and gifts received by Maharaja Bhagwat Sinhji as a ruler of Gondal, on his 50th birthday and various other relics.
 

The Royal Garages have an extensive collection of vintage and classic cars from 1910 to 1955, limousine and sports cars from 1950 and 1960, American cars from 1940 and 1950, and a fleet of four-wheel drive vehicles from the World War II and post-war period. Most of these cars are restored and some bear the original Gondal State number plates.
 

The Riverside Palace was built in 1875 AD by Maharaja Bhagwat Sinhji for his son Yuvraj Bhojraji. The palace is set in lawns and gardens beside the river Gondal. There are various sitting arrangements which are furnished in typical colonial style with antique wooden furniture and many pleasant sit-outs are also located on the terraces and galleries overlooking either the river or the garden. This palace is now a heritage hotel that is owned and run by the descendants of the Maharaja. The colonial style living room has antique wooden furniture, sofas and a chandelier.
