The National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) is a museum focusing on nature, located on Barakhamba Road in New Delhi. It displays life-size models of dinosaurs in the museum & three galleries inside it. The National Museum of Natural History aims to educate people about the rich flora and fauna of the country while keeping them entertained. The museum comprises four theme-based galleries and several hands-on activity areas. The first gallery provides a basic idea about the evolution of life & the second gallery focuses on our ecosystems and the dangers they face. The third gallery of the Natural History Museum revolves around the endangered species of birds and animals in the Indian subcontinent. The fourth gallery focuses on Cells and Tissues. Here, one can know about the structure and functions of the smallest unit of life. The timings are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and closed on Monday & National Holidays.
