Hanuman Mandir is at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place, New Delhi. It is one of the oldest Hanumana Temple in India. The temple is said to be built by Raja Jai Singh around 1724 AD. The Main Idol at the temple is that of Hanumana, facing south. The deity holds a Gada in his left hand & his right-hand rests on his chest in veneration of the adjacent idols of Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita. This elegant temple stands on the south-eastern side of Ranmal Lake. Below each Hanuman painting is presented a marble inscription of Tulsidas’s Sundar Kand affixed to the walls.
