Also known as Paradesi Synagogue and Mattancherry Synagogue, the Jewish Synagogue at Cochin is the oldest existing synagogue in the Commonwealth countries. The synagogue is beautifully laid out and decorated with Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. The Jewish synagogue in this area is the only one operating today out of seven synagogues.
