The garden of Kabuli Bagh is situated at a distance of 2 kms from the city of Panipat. The most popular feature of this garden is the Kabuli Shah Mosque, built by Babur. This mosque is named after the wife of Babur, Mussammat Kabuli Begum. He built this tomb commemorate his victory over Ibrahim Lodhi. A few years later, of the construction of this tomb, a masonry platform was added to it called the Chabutra, by Humayun after he defeated Salem Shah, near Panipat. This platform is called the Chabutra Fateh Mubarak, and it bears an inscription saying 1557 AD. A tank is also situated near this tomb, which was also built by Babur.
