Constructed by Raja Prithvi Singh in the 18th century, Arki Palace is quite famous for its frescos, done in the Arki Kalam style. Though the palace is decaying now, the mural paintings that display different subjects from Puranas, folklore, Kalidasa, and Kumara Sambhava are worth visiting even today. This palace, converted into a heritage hotel, offers alluring views of the snowy mountains of the mighty Himalayan ranges.
