Bhawarnath Temple is a place in Azamgarh District of Uttar Pradesh. The Temple located on the west end of the city is recognised with the people’s philosophy that the if a devotee suffering from crisis worship’s Baba Bhawarnath assures salvation. That is why the worship of lord Shiva is a festival around the city.  On Mahashivratri or during the Month of Sawan, people don’t  forget to come to see the sage and before leaving here also tend Jalabhishek. The devotees believe that the name gets rid of any crisis and Baba Bhawarnath protects them throughout the year. It also seems a big fair on the day of Mahashivratri and the Shiva’s Traditional marriage is organized. Overall Baba’s glory is not limited only to city but people of the entire district come to take Baba’s blessings.
