Nanital
It is the only wildlife establishment of its kind in the state of Uttarakhand. Nestled in the Sher ka Danda Hills, perched at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level, it covers a total geographical area of 4.693 hectares. The High Altitude Zoo is surrounded by beautiful flora, which includes some rare flowering and ornamental plants. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, which include the Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Goral, Himalayan Martin, and Tibetan Wolf.
