About this place

Nehru Garden, named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, was Inaugurated on its birth anniversary on 14th November 1967 & is an oval-shaped island. Located in the center of Fateh Sagar, it overlooks the ancient Moti Mahal of Maharana Pratap. Within its area of 4.5 acres, the park contains flower gardens and a lily pond. Water fountains resembling those in Brindavan Gardens of Mysore also adorn the park. Pyramid shaped, the fountains are of channel type. In the northwest of the park lies a boat-shaped floating restaurant.
