The Tomb of Akbar the Great, also known as Sikandar Fort, is a Mughal architecture in Sikandra about 8 km west-northwest from Agra & houses the mortal remains of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Akbar himself planned his tomb and selected a suitable site for it & after his death, Akbar's son Jahangir completed the construction in 1605-1613. The shape of the tomb is pyramidal and consists of five stories.
