About this place

Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri is a porch supported by 84 pillars. It was built by Rao Anirudh Singh in 1740 in honour of the services of the nurse, Deva. The structure is built on a tall podium and has two storeys. This porch is considered as a place of worship and also serves as a monument of honour. Various images are carved on all the pillars of this structure which depict the lifestyle of the Rajput kings of the 17th century. The base of the edifice has various animal pictures while the second floor has a large round curved roof at the centre surrounded by four small domes at the corners.
