The Visapur Fort, located in the Pune district of Maharashtra, at an elevation of 1084 meters & is a historical fortress built during the late 1713-1720s. An opportunity to unravel history & legends, the Visapur Fort trek will offer you glimpses of a bygone era along with the much-desired thrills of trekking. The waterfall route climb to the top is simply amazing. The key features of the fort are fortification on the East side and a plateau full of flowers. Within the fort are caves and cisterns of water. 

Visapur is ideal for a one-day trek, but one can spend a night watching the beautiful sky full of stars on top of the fort. Make arrangements for your tents and food as the village is near the foothills. Certainly recommend this trek for people who like going to lonely places, away from the crowd, and don’t forget to wear good shoes for trekking.
