About this place
This beautiful church of stone and mud has more than four centuries of existence and was erected in the original site in the year 1612. It was the first parish seat of the Villa of Oropeza and today city of Cochabamba. It is the only religious building in the city that bears resemblance to the churches of the Andean region of the high plateau.
