About this place

The cave is on Mahakali hills in the Mahakali region of Mumbai, an assembly of 19 rock-cut landmarks built between the first and sixth centuries. There are 19 caves, fifteen on the southeast face of the hill and four on the northwest face. The monument contains rock-cut cisterns and remnants of other structures.
