The Fort is 11 kilometers from Jaipur city on a hill, built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 AD. Major attractions of Amer are Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khaas, Ganesh Pol, Jaleb Chowk, Singh Pol, Jai Mandir, Yash Mandir, Sukh Mandir, Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), Suhag Mandir, Shila Devi Temple, Bhool Bhulaiya, and Zanana Dyodhi. There are two ways to reach the Amber fort, one is via elephant riding (for Rs. 900/- for two persons), and another is a walkway. Timings for entrance are 8 AM to 6 PM. Entry Fee, For Indian Rs. 25.00, Student - Rs. 10, For Foreigner - Rs. 200.00 Student - 100. Light Show is also organized at this Fort & in English at 7.30 PM with an entry fee of Rs. 200.00 & in Hindi at 8:00 PM with an entry fee of Rs. 100.00.
