Located right opposite Kingdom of Dreams, at a walking distance from the IFFCO Chowk metro station, Leisure Valley Park is Gurgaon’s most happening park. It’s a very popular picnic spot, a regular jogging track and exercise ground and much more. It is huge and highly well maintained. The garden has three main entrances: the main one being the one in front of the big parking lot, one from a peaceful back lane and the other near the Kingdom of Dreams entrance. The first one is well decorated and has a statue of an elephant welcoming. The second one is close to the fountains while the third one opens up to Roots cafe and the play area that has been made for children. Leisure valley is much more than a picnic spot. There is a lot of fitness activity taking place in the morning hours, with locals using this space as a jogging track; a sandy area has been developed near one entrance that has a lot of swings and slides for children; Roots cafe that runs entirely on solar power is famous for its simple, home-like food and in the afternoon. Close to the main entrance is a very pretty flower garden, entry into which is prohibited. This enclosure has a variety of colourful flowers planted in neat rectangular blocks which have been labelled. One can admire them from the other side of the fence as the guards won’t let you enter but they look quite beautiful even from a distance. The latest addition to this park is its marble elephants. You will spot one wherever you go and they’ve mostly been placed in pairs. There are many other normal benches scattered all over the garden too with a couple of clusters as well that have a number of benches placed quite close to each other and the entire cluster is covered by a transparent dome with plants growing over it so as to give you a green cover.
