Parque Machia a State Wildlife Custody Centre has an approximate area of 38 hectares and is located in Villa Tunari Chapare in the department of Cochabamba. The topography presents splendid views of the Andean Cordillera Oriental and of the lowland tropical region. The bountiful wildlife and pleasant breeze make this an ecotourism hot spot. Tourists can visit the park to see the free animals that live inside it many of them went through the rehabilitation process before being reintroduced. Many monkeys have formed groups and are often heard and seen in the treetops, playing and looking for food. Many species of birds can also be seen here.
