Varadvinayak temple is simple but beautiful & is one of the Temple of Astavinayaka Darshan, situated in Mahad village in Raigad, 146 km from Pune. The idol in the temple was found in the lake adjoining the temple and displays a weathered look. An oil lamp called Nandadeep, is believed to have been burning since 1892. Mahad is a pretty village set in the hilly region of Konkan in the Raigarh district and the Khalapur Taluka of Maharastra. Lord Ganesha, as Varad Vinayak, fulfills all desires and grants all boons.
