The renowned Palace Of The Winds or Hawa Mahal is in the heart of Jaipur at Hawa Mahal Rd, Badi Choupad & this majestic five-story palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It was built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while being unseen from outside. The main highlight of Hawa Mahal is its pyramid shape and its 953 windows or 'Jharokhas, which are decorated with intricate designs.
