The Danube Promenade lies between the Parliament and the Chain Bridge. The shoes on edge of the Danube Promenade dedicated to the murdered Jews by the fascist Arrow Cross militiamen during the World War II are a memorial to those who lost their lives in the Holocaust. The pairs of iron shoes look so real that one can feel the horror of this inhumanity that took place here. Just enjoying the view of the immense structure from the banks of the Danube Promenade is a worthwhile activity.
