The Little Princess Statue on the Promenade, sitting on the railings by the embankment is one of Budapest's newest attractions. The Little Princess is the most photographed statue in Budapest. It’s said to bring luck and self actualization to the visitor if they rub her knees. Originally, Marton created a 50 cms statue which can be seen in the Hungarian National Gallery however a larger rendition was created in 1990 and erected on the banks of the Danube where it still stands today.
