Golf Course of Gulmarg was established in the year 1904 by the British and the first tournament in the region was organized in the year 1922. The British played golf in the lush green grounds of the club, known as one of the most beautiful golf courses. Situated at the height of 2650 mts above sea level, this golf club is considered to be one of the highest golf courses in the world. Golf enthusiasts can indulge in the 18-hole course by availing temporary membership of a day. This Golf Course is managed by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation.
